Objective To explore the application of middle approach complete mesocolectomy in the surgical treatment of colon cancer. Methods? A total 50 patients with colon cancer treated in Zhangye Second People's Hospital from April 2019 to April 2020 were selected as the study subjects.They were divided into observation group and control group according to the different surgical methods，25 patients who underwent complete mesocolic resection by intermediate approach were included in the observation group，and 25 patients who underwent traditional radical resection of colon cancer were included in the control group.The surgical indicators，pain scores， incidence of complications，and recurrence in the later stage were analyzed. Results? Compared with the control group，the operation time，intraoperative blood loss，postoperative exhaust time，postoperative defecation time and hospitalization time in the observation group were significantly shorter than those in the control group； the pain score of the observation group was significantly lower than that of the control group；the incidence of complications in the observation group was relatively low and after treatment. There was no secondary recurrence in stage II patients（P＜0.05）. Conclusion? In the treatment of colon cancer patients，the application of middle approach complete mesocolic resection can ensure the clinical treatment effect of patients，reduce the incidence of late complications，and then improve the rehabilitation effect of patients，and obtain better prognosis forpatients.
