Objective? To study the clinical value of different blood collection methods and blood routine examination. Methods? A total of 100 cases were selected as the study subjects from the health examination of Wucheng County People's Hospital from October 2018 to March 2020. All the individuals performed elbow vein blood collection and end blood collection，which were divided into vein group and end group according to the blood collection method，blood routine tests were carried out separately，and the results of the final test were compared. Results? The white blood cells（WBC）and red blood cells（RBC）in blood indicators were lower in the venous group than in the terminal group（P＜0.05）. The hemoglobin（Hb），hematocrit（Hct），and platelet（PLT） in the venous group were higher than those in the terminal group（P＜0.05）. There were no significant differences in mean corpuscular volume（MCV）and mean corpuscular hemoglobin（MCHC）between the two groups（P＞0.05）. There was no significant difference between the two outcomes of the venous group in the repeated testing test results（P ＞0.05）.The MCHC，MCV，Hb，and Hct measurements in the terminal group were significantly different（P＜0.05）.Conclusion? The accuracy and reliability of venous blood sampling test are better than that peripheral blood，so it is recommended to be the first choice for routine blood test.
