Abstract:Objective In order to observe the blood routine indicators of patients with chronic benzene poisoning, toexplore the value of early judgment of chronic benzene poisoning on blood system damage, and to provide basis for clinical monitoring of the occurrence of chronic benzene poisoning and early intervention. Methods Forty- eight patients with chronic benzene poisoning in the 12th People's Hospital of Guangzhou were selected and divided into chronic mild benzene poisoning group, chronic moderate benzene poisoning group, and chronic benzene poisoning group according to the "Diagnostic Standards for Occupational Benzene Poisoning (GBZ 68- 2013)" In the severe benzene poisoning group, 50 healthy people were selected as the control group. The blood routine indexes [red blood cells (RBC), white blood cells (WBC), platelets (PLT)] levels of the four groups were compared, and the ROC curve was drawn to analyze their effects on chronic benzene. The diagnostic value of poisoning. Results The differences in the blood routine indexes RBC, WBC and PLT levels of patients with chronic benzene poisoning of different disease levels were statistically significant (P<0.05); and as the degree of poisoning deepened, the patients' RBC, WBC and PLT levels showed Increasing trend (P<0.05); the AUC of RBC +WBC + PLT, PLT, WBC and RBC were 0.926, 0.902, 0.812, 0.783, respectively. Conclusion PLT, WBC and RBC have high diagnostic value for early benzene poisoning, and can be used as laboratory indicators for early diagnosis of chronic benzene poisoning and detection of body damage.
