Objective?To study the detection rate and related influence factors of hypertension in routine physical examination of aircrew. Methods?The clinical dataes of 7 778 aircrew examined in a Center from January 2016 to December 2020 were retrospectively analyzed.According to the occurrence of hypertension, 7 778 flight attendants were divided into observation group (257 cases, hypertension) and control group (7 521 cases,no hypertension). The basic data and laboratory indicators of the two groups were collected. The Logistic multivariate analysis was used to analyze the related factors of aircrew with hypertension. Results?There were 257 cases of hypertension, and they were grade 1 hypertension among the 7 778 aircrew, and the incidence rate of hypertension was 3.30%, there were 191 drivers, 37 crew members, 16 safety officers and 13 double certificate steward (steward+safety officer). The results of Logistic multivariate analysis showed that the body mass index (BMI) (95%CI=1.214~2.259, OR=1.656, P=0.001), family history of hypertension (95%CI=1.632~12.831, OR=4.576, P=0.004), total flight time (95%CI=1.626~7.885, OR=3.580, P=0.002), low density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) (95%CI=1.314~5.474, OR=2.682, P=0.007) and fasting blood glucose (FPG) (95%CI=1.214~6.023, OR=2.704, P=0.015) were closely related to hypertension in aircrew. Conclusion?The aircrew still have a certain proportion of patients with hypertension, which is related to BMI, family history of hypertension, total flight time, LDL-C and FPG levels.
