Abstract:Objective To investigate the efficacy of endoscopic mucosal resection(EMR) in treatmen and high frequency electrocoagulation of colorectal adenomatous polyps. Methods From August 2018 to December 2021, 78 patients with colorectal adenomatous polyps treated in the Huai'an Medical District, General Hospital of PLA Eastern Theater Command According to the operation method were divided into conventional group (high_x005ffrequency electrocoagulation resection) and experimental group (EMR treatment), with 39 cases in each group. The recovery time of gastrointestinal function, length of operation, incidence of complications and recurrence of colorectal adenomatous polyps were compared between the two groups. Results The postoperative recovery time of gastrointestinal function in the experimental group was shorter than that in the conventional group(P<0.05); there was no statistically significant difference in the length of operation (P>0.05). The incidence of complications and the recurrence rate in the experimental group were lower than those in the conventional group(P<0.05). Conclusion Compared with high-frequency electrocoagulation resection, EMR treatment of colorectal adenomatous polyps can reduce the postoperative gastrointestinal function recovery time, effectively reduce the incidence of complications in patients, and reduce the postoperative recurrence rate. It can be applied in clinical practice.
