Objective To explore the effect of self-made Wentang decoction on patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) with spleen-kidney yang de?ciency syndrome. Methods Sixty T2DM patients with spleen-kidney yang de?ciency syndrome admitted to Qionghai Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from August 2020 to August 2021 were selected and divided into the control group (30 cases, treated with conventional drugs)and the observation group (30 cases, treated with self-made Wentang decoction on the basis of the control group) according to the random number table. The blood glucose, blood lipid, hemorheology and clinical therapeutic effect were compared between the two groups after treatment. Results The clinical treatment response rate in the observation group was higher than that in the control group (P<0.05). After treatment, fasting blood glucose,2 h postprandial blood glucose and glycosylated hemoglobin levels in the two groups were lower than those before treatment, and the observation group was lower than the control group (P<0.05). After treatment, the triglyceride (TG), low-density lipoprotein (LDL) and total cholesterol (TC) levels in the two groups were lower than those before treatment, and the observation group was lower than the control group (P<0.05). After treatment, the level of high density lipoprotein (HDL) in 2 groups was higher than before treatment (P<0.05), but there was no statistical signi?cance between groups (P>0.05). After treatment, whole blood low shear viscosity, whole blood high shear viscosity and plasma viscosity of two groups were lower than before treatment, and observation group was lower than control group (P<0.05). The clinical treatment response rate in the observation group was higher than that in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion In the treatment of T2DM patients with spleen-kidney yang de?ciency syndrome, the use of self-made Wentang Decoction can reduce the blood glucose index of patients, and regulate blood lipid changes, improve their hemorheology, the therapeutic effect is better.
